How to Play Jungle of Wakanda
The setup you need to know
Jungle of Wakanda is the map for Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Infinity War, a limited-time event running from October 9 to December 11, 2026. It is the third chapter of the series, and it turns the Infinity Stones into a duo battle. Twelve players form six pairs, and every round matches pairs off against each other in separate arenas for two-versus-two fights. When an odd number of pairs is left, one of them sits the round out with nothing lost.
Each pair begins with one random Infinity Stone and shares a single pool of life. Losing a round drains it, and a pair whose pool hits zero is out of the match and hands its Stones to the pair that beat it. The last pair standing ends up with all six Stones and wins.
How a round works
Every round starts with a card phase of about fifty seconds, where you pick upgrades, followed by about sixty seconds of fighting. If both sides still have someone alive when the timer runs out, overtime starts and health drains until one pair falls. The Stones are asleep at first: their basic effects switch on from the fourth round and their stronger versions from the seventh, so the second half of a match plays very differently from the first.
The Stones
Power fires a beam that deals damage based on the target's maximum health, which makes it the answer to big Vanguards. Space gives you a repeatable teleport plus extra damage and bonus health, ideal for divers. Time rewinds you a few seconds, and its stronger form can rewind the whole fight and even bring a partner back. Reality turns enemy attacks into harmless bubbles, Mind lets you take control of an enemy and use their Stone, and Soul lets you spend your own health to fully heal your partner. Most guides rate Time and Soul as the strongest.
Heroes and rules
Thirteen heroes are available: Black Panther, Black Widow, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Groot, Iron Man, Mantis, Rocket Raccoon, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Thor and Winter Soldier. A pair can't field the same hero twice and team-ups are switched off. Several kits are changed for the mode: Rocket's orbs and B.R.B. deal damage instead of healing or reviving, Mantis grants bonus health instead of healing, Doctor Strange loses his Pentagram of Farallah and Spider-Man has a single Web-Swing charge.
How to win
Pair a hero who keeps the duo alive with a damage dealer who can look after themselves. In the first rounds, take cards that give you more choices later; once your shared life falls behind, switch to cards that keep you alive. Fight around the health pack in your arena, and never split up: a two-versus-one is the fastest way to lose a round.
Hero picks
Early community favourites are Rocket Raccoon and Mantis, with Scarlet Witch, Thor and Doctor Strange close behind. Rocket with Mantis, Mantis with Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange with Rocket are the most popular pairs.
