Players begin as Banner, who possesses the lowest health in the game and limited offensive capabilities. To transform into the Hulk, players must accumulate gamma energy, primarily through Banner's abilities like the Gamma Grenade, which not only damages enemies but also generates the necessary energy for transformation. Once transformed, the Hulk becomes a formidable frontline combatant with enhanced health and melee prowess. Mastering the timing and management of this transformation is crucial, as reverting to Banner after the Hulk's health is depleted requires players to strategically gather gamma energy again to reinitiate the change. This dynamic gameplay emphasizes the balance between Banner's vulnerability and the Hulk's strength, offering a distinctive experience on the battlefield.

Team-Up: Gamma Fastball

Wolverine and Hulk can interact with each other. Once both parties confirm, Hulk can lift Wolverine and press the key to hurl him forward.

Team-Up: Gamma Monstro

The Gamma Monstro Team-Up features Hulk as the anchor and Namor as the secondary hero. Hulk gains +100 max health. Namor’s Aquatic Dominion ability summons a gamma-infused Monstro that fires a laser beam, dealing increasing damage the longer it hits. This Monstro has higher health, lasts longer, and gains increased attack speed on Namor’s critical hits. The Team-Up boosts Namor’s damage output and is effective against low-mobility targets, ideal for objective control and anti-dive strategies.
